- "I am that hero!"
- ―Larryboy’s catchphrase
Larryboy: The Cartoon Adventures is an American animated children's direct-to-video series which is a spin-off of the computer animated series VeggieTales created by Big Idea Entertainment. The first episode was released in March 16, 2002. The last video in the series was released on June 10, 2003 as it was affected by Big Idea's bankruptcy. Unlike its predecessor, VeggieTales, Larryboy was animated in Adobe Flash. From September 2006 to September 2009, NBC aired the content of all four videos on its Qubo block alongside episodes of 3-2-1 Penguins!.
The series revolves around Larry's superhero alter-ego Larryboy as he tries to manage his life as a superhero, while working as a janitor for the Daily Bumble newspaper in Bumblyburg.
- As previously stated, this show is animated in Flash rather than CGI.
- When Qubo launched as a block on NBC, this show alternated with 3-2-1 Penguins! (and was promoted on air as 3-2-1 Penguins and Larryboy Stories).
- This is the first spinoff show to air on Qubo, with the others being Guess with Jess, a spinoff of Postman Pat, She-Ra: Princess of Power, a spinoff of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe and Ghostbusters, a spinoff of the 1975 live-action series The Ghost Busters.
- This series does air on Smile TV, but way less frequently compared to VeggieTales.
