NBCUniversal is a company that was founded in 1926. It was one of the 5 companies that have collaborated to create Qubo. This company distributes shows from Classic Media (now DreamWorks Classics) (Lamb Chop's Play Along, Postman Pat and He-Man), Big Idea Entertainment (VeggieTales and 3-2-1 Penguins!), and from themselves (Sitting Ducks and Maisy).

When NBC Kids (a programming block by Sprout, a channel they already co-owned themselves, that replaced the Qubo block on NBC and Telemundo) was announced in 2012, Qubo has lost the rights to all of NBCUniversal's programming that June. In 2016, when Big Idea and Classic Media's parent company, DreamWorks Animation was purchased by NBC Universal, the network lost the rights to those shows as well. The only companies of the main collaboration that was still standing on Qubo's legs were Scholastic (Until 2015) and Nelvana.
